eMail from Goddard Space Center

I just got an email from the NASA-Goddar Space Flight Center saying that they are building a mockup of the Space Shuttle Flight Deck, and they were wondering if I could help them out with dimensions! How cool is that!!!! And they said it was nicely done!! **beaming**

Data Dump

Well, it's been forever since an update. My motivation comes and goes, so I'll get all my new-hungry fans a blow-by-blow of the past 6 weeks.

June 26 - Carpal Tunnel Surgery on the left hand - went fine.
June 27 - Bobby T visited. Did the Washington Zoo. Great day.
June 28 - Still have no feeling in my middle finger on the left hand.
June 29 - Picked out new leather sofas from Laz-y Boy.
June 30 - Nothing happened today - it freaks me out a bit.
July 1 - 2nd bone spur detected just under the gums in same location.
July 2 - Leave for a vacation to Kentucky.
July 3- 2nd bone spur breaks through gums.
July 4 - Celebrate 4th of July. Kelly Turner visits. Family throws me a surprise early 40th B-day.
July 5 - Mom's Birthday and dinner at Pompelio's.
July 6 - Visit Dentist with 2nd bone spur in gums. He can't remove it.
July 7 - Visit oral surgeon re: bone spur. He can't remove it.
July 7 - Observatory POD delivered.
July 8 - Same oral surgeon does surgery. Grinds bone spur down. 6 stitches in gums.
July 9 - Stitches removed from hand.
July 10 - Return to work. Try in vain to get caught up.
July 11 - Bone spur that was ground down breaks through gums for second time.
July 12 - Finished configuring and assembling the observatory POD.
July 13 - Still can't chew food on left side. Constant, but mild, jaw pain.
July 14 - First night with the telescope in the POD.
July 15 - Update this Blog! :)
